Rams beat their title rivals at Maine Road with 2 excellent goals. The comment by Barry Davies "Look at his face..." was used in the opening credits to the tv show "They Think Its All Over".

Here are two of the goals from a 2-1 Arsenal win at Maine Road in 1973. Can't find Brian Hornsby's goal but Eddie Kelly's opener and Francis Lee's late consolation free kick are included.

Manchester City 1-2 Arsenal, November 10th 1973.
Goals: Francis Lee; Eddie Kelly, Brian Hornsby [not shown].

[New Version: Tommy Smith sending-off added]

Ten days after the Cup replay City and ten-man Liverpool drew 1-1 in the league. See Tommy Smith being sent-off for, in his own words, "F*ck all." Also watch out for a brilliant Ray Clemence save from Franny Lee.

Manchester City 1-1 Liverpool, February 17th 1973.
Goals: Tommy Booth; Phil Boersma.

A memorable FA Cup third round game at Elland Road in 1978 featuring a Leeds player punch-up, a pitch invasion, mounted police, a blatant penalty denied... and a City win.
